Lebanon — A Boone County jury on Wednesday found David Camm not guilty of murdering his wife Kim and children Brad and Jill in the garage of their Georgetown home Sept. 28, 2000.
The jury deliberated for parts of three days after getting the case Tuesday afternoon. The trial lasted 10 weeks in Lebanon, where it was moved because of media coverage in Southern Indiana and Louisville.
Camm has twice been convicted in the murders. The first two were overturned by higher courts. In 2006, Charles Boney was convicted of the murder and conspiracy to commite murder.
Camm meeting with four of his family members. Then he’ll return to jail for processing and be released.
Camm's attorney said Camm will now be able to mourn his family, an opportunity that was taken away from him three days after they were killed when he was arrested.
