SHALOM COMMUNITY LUNCH — 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Shalom House, 304 W. Green St., Lebanon. Free lunch for all, sponsored by Shalom Zone.

TWEEN SCENE— 10 to 11:30 a.m., students in grades 4-5 can see what the teen buzz is about with the teen librarian at the Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library, 250 N. Fifth St., Zionsville. Students will create an “older kid” craft and go to the teen area to learn about the titles and stories that await them on the second-floor shelves.

LEBANON FARMERS MARKET —  On the Courthouse Square 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Live music, sidewalk sale and vendors selling items like eggs, berries, plants, honey and produce.

ART IN THE PARK — Back-to-school celebration for kids, 4 to 8 p.m. at Lebanon Memorial Park by the bandstand. Free.

 THORNTOWN LIONS CLUB BBQ— Chicken halves may be picked up at Lions Club Park between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Call Dale Dickerson at 765-436-7122 to place an order.

SHERLOCK HOLMES FILM FESTIVAL — Noon to 5 p.m. at the Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library, Zionsville. Popcorn, candy and drinks provided. Regsitration requested.

BEAD BUDDIES — 12 to 5 p.m. for ages 5 and older, make fun beaded key chains and backpack decorations at the Zion Nature Center in Zionsville. Supplies and lots of bead animals to choose from included. Cost is $1.
