Marjorie E. Hill

Mrs. Marjorie E. Hill, 91, of Lebanon, died Monday, April 29, 2013, at Parkwood Healthcare, Lebanon.  

Mrs. Hill was born Feb. 24, 1922, in Advance, a daughter of Fred and Sally (Nicely) Price. Both parents are deceased. She was first married to Paul Woodard. He died in World War II. She then married James Hill, he died in 1983.

Mrs. Hill graduated from Lebanon High School. She worked for the LeMar Shop and Jones & Beniger.

Survivors include her daughter, Marlene “Sue” (Larry) Gray of Athens, Ga.; grandchildren, Shannon (William) McBride, Heather Peterman, Darin (Michelle) Tribbett and Jay Tribbett; five great-grandchildren; a niece, Marcia (Bill) Long of Greencastle; and nephew, Steve (Mary) Swanson of Florida. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Woodard, and a daughter, Lucinda “Cindy” Kay Tribbett.

Family and friends will gather Friday, May 17, for visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Private family graveside services will be held immediately following the visitation. Mrs. Hill will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Boone County Senior Services, Inc., 515 Crownpointe Dr., Lebanon, IN 46052.
