Public Agenda for Aug. 29

APC to meet

The Boone County Area Plan Commission meeting is set for 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 5. The meeting location has been changed to the Boone County 4-H Community Building. The agenda and staff reports will be posted at the Web site, www.boonecounty.in.gov.

Whitestown Town Council

The Whitestown Town Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, at the Worth Fire Station, 2965 S. County Road 575 East. Agenda items include a public hearing for the 2008 town budget, a zoning petition from Verus Partners, the Corner Stone Group presenting on vuluntary annexations, and the RDC appointment.

Western Boone school board

The Board of Trustees of the Western Boone County Community School Corporation will meet in special session at 6 p.m. Thursday, at the central office, 1201 N. Indiana 75, Thorntown. The purpose of the meeting is strategic planning.
