Rosenstihl golf outing deemed a success

Ulen Country Club was the host course for the inaugural Coach Jim Rosenstihl Golf Outing.

More than 40 former Lebanon basketball players made up the field of 65 golfers. The afternoon event not only provided golf, but also the opportunity for players to look thru memorabilia and share old hoops stories. The event raised mre than $3,000 for the James Rosenstihl Scholarship Fund.

Each year, a scholarship will be awarded to a senior boy and girl basketball player from this fund.

Donations can be made throughout the year, by contacting Cheri Goodwin of the Lebanon Educational Foundation. The event was deemed a success by organizers and next year’s event is tentatively scheduled for June 26, 2010. Ulen Country Club and The Lebanon Sports Boosters donated time to help with the event.
