Koopman - Venis

Jamie Jodel Koopman and Ryan Jerold Venis were married Oct. 27, 2007, at the couple’s home. The Rev. Bud Moody officiated.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father, Joe Barrett, and her son, Kirk Koopman, 9.

Angie Sheets was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Samantha Metzger, Pam Ellis and Renae Ferguson. Jerzi Jodel Koopman, 5, the daughter of the bride, was flower girl.

Michael Rhoton was best man. Groomsmen were Troy Fields, Drew Gunther and John Harrison. Jaden Bailey was ring bearer.

A reception followed the wedding at the couple’s home.

The bride is the daughter of Joe and Terry Barrett. She is a 1997 graduate of Western Boone and a graduate of PJ’s College of Cosmetology. She is a hairstylist at Salon Eclipse in Zionsville.

The groom is the son of Bo and Brenda Venis. He is a 2001 graduate of Lebanon High School.

He owns and operates Venis Trucking.

The couple resides in rural Lebanon.
