Weddings for Nov. 16, 2011

Jennifer Marie Baker and Marc Stephen Hollingsworth were married at 4:30 p.m. June 25, 2011, at St. Peter’s First Community Church in Huntington, with Jim Coyle officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Rick and Barb Baker of Huntington. The groom is the son of Terry and Cheryl Hollingsworth of Lebanon.

The bride wore a floral lace strapless gown with a fitted body, satin ribbon at waist, scallop hem and chapel train. She carried a bouquet of white mountain lilies, white calla lilies and white stock.

The bridesmaids wore an Oasis colored long, satin dress with a halter neckline. The attendants carried bouquets that were a smaller version of the bride’s.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Scripture reading was provided by Angie Baker, cousin of the bride. Ceremony music was provided by Mary Sell, organist. The matron of honor was Sarah Shuter, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids included Erin Ruppert, Madeena Coates, Annette Lamb and Stefani Goetz, all friends of the bride. The flower girl was Carly Shuter, niece of the bride.

Serving as best man was Neil Hollingsworth, brother of the groom. Groomsmen included Joe Davis, John Ross, Pat Stout and Spencer Morris, all friends of the groom. Junior groomsman was Cody Hollingsworth, nephew of the groom. Ring bearer was Jacob Shuter, nephew of the bride. Serving as ushers were Brian Shuter, brother-in-law of the bride and Nathan Day, friend of the groom. Guestbook attendants were Nikki Hollingsworth, sister-in-law of the groom, and Cassie Hacker and Jessica Baker, cousins of the bride.

A dinner and dancing reception was held immediately following the ceremony at the Fabulous 105 in Marion.

The couple chose a honeymoon trip to Ochos Rios, Jamaica. The bride is a graduate of Huntington North High School, Purdue University and Indiana State University. She is an assistant principal with Tippecanoe School Corp. in Lafayette.

The groom is a graduate of Lebanon High School and Ball State University. He is a project manager for USI Consultants in Indianapolis.

The couple resides in Lebanon.

Mallori A. Barker and Andrew Larson were married Oct. 28, 2011, by a Justice of the Peace in Greenfield.

The bride is the daughter of James and Denise Barker and John and Angie Fredrickson. She attended Warren Central High School, graduating with a GED. She then attended Dental Assisting by Lynn, and graduated in the top of her class in May of 2008.

The groom’s parents are deceased. The couple fondly remember his mother, Debbie Larson, who would be so proud. The groom attended Warren Central High School, graduating with a GED. He is currently employed as a concrete finisher for RL Turner.

Fallon Barker, sister of the bride, held a reception for the bride and groom on Nov. 12, at her residence in Indianapolis.

The couple have two beautiful children, Zane, 8, and Brayden, 1, and they reside in Indianapolis.
