Tamarya Hoyt and Scott Johnson were married March 19, 2011, at Salem United Methodist Church, in Salem. Diana McCracken officiated.
The matron of honor was Tiffany Hoyt-Smith, and the bridesmaids were Michelle Martin, Sarah Ground, Julie Beatty and Katherine Handzel. The junior bridesmaid was Emily Russell and the flower girl was Ella Ground. The best man was James Belange, and the groomsmen were Troy Martin, Nick Smith, Joe Johnson and Danny Ramsey. The junior groomsman was Collin Smith and the ring bearer was Caden Smith.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Carolyn Hoyt of Salem. She graduated from Salem High School, Salem, in 1994, and attended Indiana University.
The groom is the son of Don and Darlene Johnson of Thorntown. He graduated from Western Boone High School in 1993, and attended Purdue University and Anderson University.
After a honeymoon to the Hawaiian Islands, the couple returned home to Nashville, Tenn.
