Michelle Leigh Hayes and Corey Roger Gareri were married June 16, 2012, at View Wesleyan Church in Pickens, S.C. The Rev. Nathan George officiated.

The maid of honor was Lauren Brucke, and the bridesmaids were Amanda Hayes, Keni Kelly, Nicole Land, Kelli Layton and Amy Wells. The flower girl was Bailey Wells. The best man was Kyle Gallagher, and the groomsmen were T.J. Horn, Zach Keller, Kevin Greve, Elijah Hayes and Shane Hayes. The ring bearer was Cael Chapman.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Cheryl Hayes of Pickens. She is a graduate of Pickens Senior High School. She graduated in 2010 from Southern Wesleyan University, Central, S.C., and Central Methodist University, Fayette, Mo., in 2011. The bride is currently employed as director of Sunshine House Learning Center in Greenville, S.C., and director of Six Mile Recreation Department.

The groom is the son of Charles and Jane Gareri of rural Thorntown. He graduated from Western Boone High School in 2004. He then graduated from Earlham College in 2009, and Central Methodist University in 2011. The groom is currently employed as baseball pitching coach for Southern Wesleyan University, an instructor at Southern Wesleyan University, and is head coach of the Carolina Chaos of the Southern Collegiate Baseball League in Clemson, S.C.

The couple resides in Central, S.C. They will travel to Jamaica in December for their honeymoon.
