Two dozen people turned out to learn about and share support for those who have been victims of domestic and teen dating violence. The Women’s Fund of Boone County, Zonta Club of Lebanon and John Bean DDS sponsored a program and candlelight vigil Thursday evening in the Boone County Courthouse Rotunda. First Presbyterian Church Pastor Rev. Capt. Terri Thorn, Sheltering Wings CEO Maria Larrison, and Fox Sports sideline reporter Stacy Paetz spoke during the program. At the end, candles were lit and a bell was rung and a name read for each of the 63 people in Indiana who died as a result of domestic abuse this year. The victims were children, teens, men and women and ranged in age from 7 months to 79 years.
