Boone Health Department hosts flu and pneumonia clinics

The Boone County Health Department will host upcoming flu and pneumonia vaccine clinics.

A clinic for adults only will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday during the Boone County Senior & Health Expo at the Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds in the Witham Pavilion, 1300 100 S., Lebanon.

All ages are welcome to the public flu clinics from 3 to 6 p.m. Oct. 16 and Nov. 13 at the Boone County Health Department in the rear basement of the Boone County Office Building, 116 W. Washington St., Lebanon.

Vaccine services are available to homebound Boone County residents by calling 765-482-3942, option 9.

The health department participates in the Vaccines for Children’s Governmental Program, which provides vaccines for children who have no insurance coverage for vaccinations or current Medicaid recipients.
