LAFAYETTE - It wasn't any surprise that the Zionsville girls swimming and diving team won the sectional title.

Monday night's win was the Eagles 17th in a row, and many of the scores haven't been all that close.

But even when the outcome is really not in doubt, Zionsville finds a way to raise the bar.

The Eagles scored 582 points, 15 points off a perfect score, which is their most ever in a sectional meet.

Zionsville went 1-2-3 in two events, and 1-2 in another four.

Every Eagle finished within the top-6 of their event.
